Munising to St. Ignace, Michigan
We have a look at 4 waterfalls this morning. We could spend all day looking at waterfalls if we went round all of them, but 4 will do. We now turn east away from Lake Superior and then south, travelling through forested areas. There is an odd tree or two with the red leaves of Autumn, and you can imagine all the forest in that colour would be a beautiful sight. We arrive back at Lake Michigan and follow the coast around to St. Ignace. There are long sandy beaches and rocky outcrops. There are a few people in swimming .... hardy souls as it is a bit fresh today. At St. Ignace is the 5 mile suspension bridge which connects Upper Michigan to the lower peninsula. It looks great at night but too far away for a great picture. We also stop off at one of those Mystery Spot places, where water runs up hill, and you stand on a slopping surface and it looks to everybody else, you're about to fall over but you're not!!! Corny but fun.
