Chicago (Day 5)

First drama of the day ... the washing ..... coudn't find a place that wanted to do our washing and when we did it will cst a small fortne in American terms .... anyway note to self, if next in Chicago don't try to do washing in the inner city, there isn't a laundry matt! Now off the domestic chores, we head to Evanston to see a historical lighthouse (looks good), a local art gallery (nothing worth buying there but there is a nice squirrel in the garden) and the History Museum of the American Indian (very good). We visit the World Headquarters of Rotary and are taken on a tour of the offices and historical rooms. In the evening we head out into the suburbs again and have a great Vietnamese meal.Beautiful tastes. Warm day, but there might be a little rain in the air for tomorrow.
