Grand Rapids to Livonia (Detroit), Michigan
Our first stop in Grand Rapids is The Gerald Ford Presidential Museum. We see a lot about how he became president as a result of Nixon resigning, and what he had to go through to try and put the nation back on track with the Vietnam War and the problems with the economy. We then move onto Lansing to visit the Capitol Building and the R.E. Olds Museum, the makers of the Oldsmobile. Continuing east we end the day in Livonia, an outer suburb of Detroit. Great weather continuing, though rain is expected by the end of the week.
