Arrived Chicago

Up this morning at 5:45am. Taxi arrived right on time, and we had a dream run to the airport. Check-in, security and immigration weren't busy, so we had plenty of time for a cup of coffee. Flight to LA was smooth, and got to watch a couple of movies, plus win a $1,000,000 in "Who Wants to be a Millionaire". Shame it's not real. A few naps along the way. Waited an hour in the queue through immigration at LA. Three jumbos of Qantas from Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney, and they had 6 passport control people on!!!! Moved terminals to get our AA flight to Chicago. Left 15 minutes late but still arrived on time. Picked up luggage, found our shuttle bus and here we are just around the corner from the airport. Mind you it took us 15 minutes to go all the way around the airport to get to the hotel. Not a big choice in food this evening due to having no transportation, but there is a bar and grill within walking distance, so that's it. We will be having an early night. Cloudy and humid....bit different from home, temperature wise.
